A well-established engineering business is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join its workshop team, working on the repair, overhaul and assembly of mechanical equipment.
Key Duties
* Strip, inspect, assemble and test mechanical components
* Fault-find and repair rotating equipment
* Read and work from engineering drawings
* Use precision measuring tools
* Complete job documentation and follow H&S procedures
Requirements
* Proven mechanical fitting experience (4+ years ideal)
* Apprenticeship or mechanical qualification preferred
* Strong attention to detail and hands-on skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
