As a Skilled Mechanical Fitter, you will be tasked with assembling patient critical equipment to the medical/pharmaceutical industry including a variety of pharmaceutical capital equipment.

Hours are Monday Thursday 7am 3.30pm and Friday 7am 1pm 38 hours a week.

Your role includes:
Using static machinery, battery powered tools including drills and general hand tools.
Working in a safe manner, achieving a high level of quality
Notifying the team leader of any shortages in regular materials used
To complete projects successfully and follow instructions from your manager
Work with other teams to minimize delays and meet high standards.
Assembling a full range of metalwork enclosure products manufactured by the company.
Some travel to work at client sites across the UK, to fit and install the products.
Liaising with the tradesman and contractors at client sites as required.
What they are looking for.
The ideal candidate should come from a strong mechanical background, preferably be familiar with working to a very hight standards in the aerospace, nuclear, medical, or pharmaceutical sectors.
Its essential to have previous mechanical assembly experience.
A City & Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent is ideal but not essential.
You will be required to travel to do ad-hoc installation work and will require a valid drivers licence (company vehicle is supplied for work purposes).
Experience in working with and understanding detailed drawings.
Previous experience of working to processes and defined quality systems.
Working to high levels of accuracy and standards of finish.
To be able to work independently and as part of a team.
