Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 + OT

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday regular days (4 day week)

About the Role: My client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their dynamic team, working on high-quality manufacturing machinery. This is a workshop-based role with exciting opportunities to travel internationally to install and service machinery. Typical trips last a maximum of up to 2 weeks, with around 5–6 trips per year to locations including India, Ireland, Poland, Singapore, Switzerland, Italy, and the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, and maintain manufacturing machinery to the highest standards. Service equipment both in the workshop and on-site internationally. Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement effective solutions. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver projects on time and to specification. Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent. Proven experience as a mechanical fitter, ideally within manufacturing. Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills. Flexibility to travel internationally up to 6 times per year (max 2 weeks per trip). Excellent teamwork and communication skills. What they Offer:
