Job Description
ROLE – Mechanical Fitter\n\nSALARY - £35,000- £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)\n\nTYPE - Permanent\n\nLOCATION – Liverpool\n\nMy client provides bespoke products and engineering solutions for Manufacture. They are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team in the Liverpool area on a permanent basis.\n\nThe Mechanical Fitter will ideally have the following attributes:\n\nHNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar\n2 or more years’ industry experience ideally working in a hands-on manufacture/assembly role\nAbility to read and work to technical drawings\nExperience around pressure vessels, main fabrications, mechanical parts, milling and turning machinery would also be beneficial\nExcellent proficiency with CAD software – ideally SolidWorks or similar\nBasic understanding of electrical systems\nGood mathematical and general engineering knowledge\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and materials – sheet metal, castings, machining etc.\nBe technically minded and proactive, with a head for problem solving\nSelf-motivated with excellent attention to detail\nHave excellent communication skills both verbal and written \n\n The Mechanical Fitter role will involve:\n\nMechanical assembly of various products, parts, components and machinery\nWorking to company standards for test and repair\nMaintaining equipment and machinery\nPressure vessel testing\nPerforming development activities and finding new mechanical solutions\nBeing involved in the product design and development process using CAD\nProducing the relevant documentation that is required\nDriving continuous improvement\nSome travel to support installations and servicing \n\n If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation
