Mechanical Fitter (Heavy Plant)

Our World leading client has several perm roles available for Mechanical Maintenance Fitters, ideally with recent experience of maintaining and repairing heavy plant and hydraulics systems.

Requirements:

Min 5 years exp working around heavy industry (Rail, Marine, Min Level 3 NVQ or similar in Mechanical engineering discipline (preferred HNC / Apprenticeship). Proven experience of working with (diagnostics and repair of) hydraulic systems. Some understanding of electrical systems / motors and safe isolations. Able to read technical drawings and schematics. Experience of working on Cranes MEWPS License NPORS or equivalent Must provide their own tools - specialist OEM tools will be provided. Full UK driving license. Applicants must be able to pass a police check and obtain BPSS security clearance (so will need to be UK / EU nationals).
