Mechanical Engineer – Central London – £42,000 – Mon to Fri

A mechanical maintenance role on a commercial building with strong plant, structured PPMs, and proper support. Good fit for an engineer who likes varied building services work.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Completing PPMs on mechanical plant and building services

* Plant room checks and readings

* Working on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and valves

* Supporting hot water systems, expansion vessels, and pressurisation units

* Responding to reactive mechanical faults and completing repairs

* Completing minor pipework repairs and basic plumbing tasks

* Supporting specialist subcontractors during planned works

* Updating logbooks, job sheets, and site compliance records

What We’re Looking For

* NVQ Level 2 Mechanical, Plumbing, or Building Services minimum

* Commercial building services experience

* Confident fault finding on pumps, fans, and HVAC components

* AP tickets as a bonus

* Strong admin habits, accurate job sheet updates
