Please see JD below:\n\nMechanical Design Engineer\n\nLocation: Hybrid / Gloucester * Contract: Permanent * Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:00\n\nI'm looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of new and existing fluid-handling products. This role focuses on delivering innovative, compliant and manufacturable engineering solutions from concept through to production.\n\nThe Role\n\nDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies, improving existing products and creating new concepts\n\nProduce 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs and documentation using SolidWorks within a PDM environment\n\nApply DFM/DFA principles, safety standards and compliance requirements\n\nPerform FEA using SolidWorks Simulation and prepare clear technical reports\n\nSupport prototyping, testing and validation, iterating designs based on results\n\nCollaborate with Product Management, Production, Quality and Supply Chain\n\nContribute to design reviews, risk assessments and project lifecycle activities\n\nCreate visualisations or renders for internal and external use\n\nMaintain accurate engineering data and version control\n\nAbout You\n\nHND/Bachelor's in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering (or related discipline)\n\n5+ years' experience in mechanical product design/development, ideally including fluid-handling equipment\n\nSkilled in SolidWorks 3D CAD and familiar with PDM systems\n\nExperience with FEA, DFMA, GD&T and testing processes\n\nStrong communication, attention to detail and problem-solving ability\n\nSelf-motivated, able to work independently and meet deadlines\n\nDesirable: SolidWorks certification, exposure to electrical integration, chemical dosing experience, and stage-gate processes\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nHybrid working\n\nOpportunity to work on diverse, technically challenging projects\n\nSupportive environment with focus on continuous improvement and development\n\nIf this opportunity is of interest to you, please send your updated CV
