Duration: 12-month initial contract
Pay Rate: £33.80 - £35.80 per hour (PAYE)
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of both high-pressure and low-pressure fuel systems.
Manage component development projects from concept to production, ensuring they meet strict time, cost, and quality milestones.
Partner with global engineering teams, suppliers, and production facilities to implement robust engineering solutions.
Lead design reviews, assess technical risks through FMEA, and coordinate simulation and validation activities via DVP&R.
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues using 8D methodology and Lean principles.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) with at least 10+ years of professional engineering experience. High proficiency in Creo for powertrain component design.
A background in engine experience and a solid grasp of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
Proficiency using Teamcenter or similar PLM systems.
Specific expertise in low-pressure fuel systems.
