Their customers are based both in the UK and overseas, and they provide services for the Material processing, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Logistics, Aerospace and Defence industries.
As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of a portfolio of products and projects. You will produce system drawings, general arrangement drawings, sub-assembly drawings and detailed part drawings using SolidWorks.
What we would like from the Mechanical Design Engineer:
Engineering qualification, HNC as a minimum
3 years of design experience in special-purpose machinery or automated equipment
Experience using SolidWorks (ideally) for 3D design
Knowledge of Electrical and Pneumatic Control Systems within the mechanical design
Ability to produce documentation of a level suitable for manufacturing, assembly and installation
What we offer the Mechanical Design Engineer:
Salary between £30,000 to £50,000
22 days annual leave Bank Holidays
