Job Description:

We are looking for a committed and skilledSecondary School Maths Teacherto join ourclientsteaminROCHDALE. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach GCSE Mathematics to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum.
• Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE examinations, ensuring strong progress for all learners.
• Assess, track, and record student achievement using school systems.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of high-achievers, SEN students, and thoserequiringadditionalsupport.
• Maintainhigh expectationsof behaviour, creating a respectful and positive classroom environment.
• Use a range of teaching methods and digital tools to support learning and raise attainment.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students reach their potential.
• Attend departmental and whole-school meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues about student progress.
• Contribute to the wider maths department through curriculum development and resource sharing.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Mathematicsor a related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of the secondary maths curriculum and GCSE assessment requirements.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students.
• Strong organisational and planningabilities.
