You’ll support small groups of disengaged learners, helping them develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours they need to achieve their long-term goals and aspirations. If you don't have the teaching qualification one will be provided if you have the experience! Requirements To be considered, candidates should ideally have: * Experience as a Maths Tutor or in delivering Maths Functional Skills. * A Level 3 or higher teaching qualification, or similar * Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential. * The employer will fund the Assessor qualification if required! * Candidates who hold GCSE or A-Level qualifications will also be considered. * Functional Skills Level 2 is the equivalent of a GCSE Grade 4, so applicants with this qualification are more than qualified to teach to this level. * The ability to promote an effective and inclusive learning environment. * A good level of IT competence. * Confidence in using a diverse range of resources and communication skills, particularly when working with disadvantaged groups.
