The Role
As a Maths Teacher , you will deliver high-quality, well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4, using assessment data to inform your planning and drive measurable pupil progress. You will contribute to departmental schemes of work, support intervention and enrichment programmes, and build strong, productive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents. Maintaining high standards of behaviour and attainment will be central to your practice as a Maths Teacher in this school.
What the School is Looking For
This permanent Maths Teacher position is best suited to candidates who:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are completing a UK-recognised teacher training programme
Possess a strong academic background - a 2:1 degree or above in Mathematics or a closely related discipline from a reputable university, ideally Russell Group
Can demonstrate substantial classroom teaching experience within a UK secondary school setting (placements or permanent roles considered)
Show clear evidence of structured curriculum delivery and measurable pupil progress at KS3 and KS4
Are confident working within established whole-school behaviour and assessment frameworks
Are legally entitled to work in the UK - the school is unable to provide visa sponsorship
ECT applicants are welcomed, provided formal UK teacher training has been completed.
Salary & Contract
Inner London MPS: £40,317 to £52,300, with UPS up to £62,496. TLR opportunities may be available for candidates with relevant departmental or enrichment leadership experience.
