Role: - Material Certification Scientist \nLocation: -Liverpool-onsite\nSalary: -Competitive salary\nType: -Full-time, permanent 37.5 hours a week\n\nRussell Taylor Group are looking for a technically minded Certification Scientist to assess and certify material products and systems, including coatings & waterproof materials. \nThe role will involve managing multiple projects, investigate product performance, and producing accurate, well-structured technical reports. \n role involves close collaboration with clients and technical experts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to scope, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nResponsibilities\n• Plan and scope assessments to ensure they are realistic, technically sound, and completed on schedule.\n• Oversee all stages of product evaluations, securing the necessary data and information for progress.\n• Investigate and analyse product performance to determine suitability for purpose.\n• Produce, review, and finalise accurate technical reports and certification documentation.\n• Maintain issued certificates through regular review of surveillance reports and related updates.\n• Liaise with clients regularly, providing updates and resolving technical queries.\n• Maintain effective communication with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.\n• Attend client meetings and proactively address any concerns related to products or systems under assessment.\n• Keep up to date with relevant legislation, standards, and regulations.\n\nThe Person\n• Educated in ideally a scientific material related subject.\n• Strong technical knowledge of material products.\n• Understanding of regulations, standards, and industry practices.\n• Excellent planning, organisation, and report-writing skills.\n• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with clients.\n\nImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
