Management Accountant London Bar Group London (Hybrid) £40,000£45,000 per annum Join a dynamic finance team for a fantastic London Bar Group as a Management Accountant , where youll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of our accounts department. Working closely with the Financial Controller, youll help drive improvements in systems and processes, manage day-to-day financial operations, and support the development of junior team members. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Financial Controller to ensure the accounts department runs efficiently and meets all compliance requirements
Supervise and support the Accounts Assistant, promoting their development in partnership with the Financial Controller and Head of Learning & Development
Ensure all daily, weekly, and periodic financial reporting is accurate and up to date
Review and enhance departmental systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
Ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance with all financial regulations
Core Duties Include: Record daily revenue transactions and maintain financial spreadsheets
Verify and reconcile supplier, customer, and general ledger entries in Xero
Investigate and resolve sales variances between reported and actual income
Reconcile supplier statements with Xero records
Prepare weekly payment runs for review
Enter financial data, maintain records, and generate financial statements
Produce weekly flash P&L reports with commentary
Prepare monthly payroll for review
Track weekly stock , investigate variances, and liaise with relevant staff
Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payroll processing
Perform various ad hoc financial duties
Assist with general office management tasks (ordering supplies, liaising with third-party vendors, maintaining office organisation)
