Management Accountant Kingston, Surrey - £42,500 plus study support Hybrid

Were working with a growing SME business based in Kingston, Surrey, looking to hire an ambitious Management Accountant to join their close-knit finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone part-qualified (or actively studying) who wants hands-on exposure and genuine progression in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, youll play a key role in supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting and driving continuous improvement across finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances

Support budgeting and forecasting processes

Assist with accruals, prepayments, and journal postings

Analyse financial data to support business decision-making

Support year-end processes and liaise with external auditors

Contribute to process improvements and system efficiencies

Provide ad hoc support to the Financial Controller as required

About You

Studying towards ACCA / CIMA / ACA (or equivalent)

Previous experience in a similar role within an SME or fast-paced environment

Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail

Proactive, organised, and eager to learn

Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively

A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to take ownership
