Overview

A large-scale industrial process plant is seeking an experiencedMaintenance Supervisorto lead and coordinate maintenance activities across the plant.

Working as part of the Operations & Maintenance team, the successful candidate will ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of plant equipment through effective planning, supervision and execution of maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Planning & Supervision

  • Supervise and coordinate a team responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance activities

  • Plan, organise and monitor routine, preventative and corrective maintenance tasks

  • Ensure plant equipment operates safely, efficiently and in line with operational requirements

Maintenance Systems & Planning

  • Manage theComputerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

  • Oversee work order management, work packs, scheduling and maintenance records

  • Coordinate spare parts management and stock control

Outage & Maintenance Planning

  • Support the planning and execution of plant outages and major maintenance activities

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximise plant reliability and availability

  • Implement routine inspection and monitoring programmes

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with statutory regulations and plant procedures

  • Promote strongHealth, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ)standards

  • Ensure safe working practices and permit systems are followed

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance performance and plant reliability

  • Support preventative and predictive maintenance programmes

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineeringor equivalent industry experience

  • RelevantHealth & Safety training or accredited HSE qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and asset management processes

Experience

  • Significant experience supervising maintenance activities inEnergy from Waste, power generation, or similar heavy industrial environments

  • Experience working withmaintenance management systems (CMMS)

  • Experience developingpreventative and predictive maintenance strategies

  • Knowledge ofwaste processing, material handling or resource recovery systemsadvantageous
