Were recruiting a hands-on Maintenance Manager (Electrical) to lead and improve site maintenance at a well-established manufacturing business in Leeds!This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys leading a maintenance function while remaining actively involved in day-to-day engineering work. You will oversee all maintenance activities across the site, ensuring machinery reliability, managing preventative maintenance schedules, and maintaining high safety and operational standards. This is a Full-Time, Permanent role offering long-term stability, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving site operations.What youll be doingLead and support the site maintenance team, allocating daily tasks and monitoring performanceCarry out hands-on maintenance and fault finding across manufacturing machinery and site equipmentDevelop and manage preventative maintenance programmes to ensure machinery reliabilityPlan and coordinate maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise efficiencyManage external contractors and ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with site proceduresEnsure LOLER inspections, electrical systems, and site equipment remain compliant and well maintainedMaintain maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and support continuous improvement across the siteHoursMonday to Friday: 6:30am 3:30pmPay£50,000 per annum (depending on experience)Attendance bonuses (up to £1000)Skills/Experience Required Essential18th Edition Electrical qualificationProven experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory roleStrong hands-on maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environmentElectrical and mechanical fault-finding experienceAbility to manage maintenance planning and preventative maintenance programmesStrong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skillsDesirableExperience managing subcontractors and external service providersKnowledge of LOLER regulations and lifting equipment maintenanceMechanical engineering qualificationsBenefits £50,000 salaryAttendance bonus up to £1,000Company pension scheme28 days holiday (including bank holidays)Free on-site parkingDay shifts with consistent hoursStable, long-term role within a well-established manufacturing businessOpportunity to lead and shape the site maintenance functionEssentialAll applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).Must be commutable to Leeds.
