Your responsibilities as Maintenance Engineer

Carry out planned preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime
Respond quickly to equipment failures, diagnosing faults and completing repairs
Conduct routine inspections and servicing to identify issues early
Support installation, upgrades, and commissioning of new machinery
Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts inventory
Work closely with production teams to maximise machinery performance
What we’re looking for in a Maintenance Engineer

Previous experience within a maintenance engineering environment
A full, UK driving licence (essential)
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Proven fault-finding and diagnostic capability on production equipment
Experience working within manufacturing, ideally food or FMCG
Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent practical experience
