A well-established food manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the appointment of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer .
This role offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment where reliability, continuous improvement and safety are key priorities.
You will play a hands-on role in maintaining and improving production machinery, supporting breakdown response, planned maintenance and new equipment installation.
The Role
Working as part of the engineering team, you will support the maintenance and performance of industrial production equipment across mechanical and electrical systems. The role involves reactive and planned maintenance, fault finding, equipment installation and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to ensure machinery remains operational and reliable.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns , identifying faults and implementing effective repairs.
Assist with the installation, commissioning and testing of new machinery and equipment upgrades.
