My client is a contract industrial maintenance company that has been working with leading manufacturing companies for over a decade. We are committed to operational excellence and are currently looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our team and ensure our clients continuity of production through a professional and efficiently service.
Job Summary
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of a wide variety of equipment, and machinery. You'll work closely with the operations and safety teams to identify problems, perform routine maintenance, and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
You will possess good diagnostic skills to identify the root cause of faults and carry out or communicate corrective actions required in an efficient and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Affect timely repairs to machinery breakdowns.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when necessary.
Requirements
HNC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering apprenticeship (or related field).
Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role (typically 2+ years).
Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and industrial equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
