Maintenance EngineerLocation: Birmingham Salary: £50,000 Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) Role OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, global manufacturing business within a highly regulated industrial environment.This role is ideal for an engineer with both mechanical and electrical experience, looking to develop their career within a major brand offering long-term stability and progression. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production and site equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtimeMaintain and troubleshoot industrial systems including steam, water, and associated utilitiesSupport the continuous operation of manufacturing processes in a high-performance production environmentConduct equipment inspections and ensure machinery is operating safely and efficientlyAssist with installation, commissioning, and improvement of new and existing equipmentWork collaboratively with production teams to drive reliability and efficiency improvementsEnsure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company standardsAccurately complete maintenance documentation and reports Skills & Experience Required Strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenanceExperience within a manufacturing or industrial environmentKnowledge of steam systems, water systems, and industrial utilitiesProven ability in fault finding and problem solvingExperience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentRelevant engineering qualification (NVQ, HNC/HND or equivalent) What's on Offer Competitive salary of £50,000Opportunity to join a major, globally recognised manufacturing brandStrong opportunities for career development and progressionOngoing training and upskilling within a technically advanced environment SummaryThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer seeking a stable role with excellent earning potential and long-term career growth, working within a well-established and respected industrial operation.JBRP1_UKTJ
