Maintenance Engineer
Location: Coventry
Shift Pattern: Night shift
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Coventry on a night shift pattern. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of our production machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure technical availability of production machinery and facilities Perform first-line fixes to minimise downtime and support production continuity Maintain equipment to TPM schedules and improve machine uptime using OEE data Support building services and participate in improvement projects Mentor apprentices and provide technical advice when needed
Requirements:
HNC in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering 18th Edition electrical wiring qualification (advantageous) Experience with PLC fault finding (S5, S7, TIA Portal), safety systems, and control panels Minimum 1 year in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing setting Strong knowledge of electro-pneumatics, hydraulics, and machining technologies Ability to work independently or collaboratively under time pressure
