Maintenance Engineer in Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire

Alexander Steele are currently working with a well-established bakery products manufacturer in East Yorkshire who are looking to strengthen their engineering team with the addition of a Maintenance Engineer.
This position is available due to the installation of a new production line, with the ideal candidate coming from a fast paced manufacturing environment.
The Role:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on bakery production machinery and site utilities.
*
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
*
Support continuous improvement and reliability-focused maintenance activities.
*
Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning where required.
*
Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety, health & safety, and site compliance standards.
*
Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to support 24/7 operations.
On Offer
*
£23.10 per hour//£50,450 per annum
*
4 on 4 off - 2d/2n
*
