Maintenance Engineer FTC

Our Pharma client is looking for an engineer to join them for a 6-8 month FTC. ideally you would come from a manuvfacturing environment, pharma, food, aerospace, any industry highly regulated, and you would need both mechanical and electrical experience, the site has a steam system, both plant steam and pur steam, as well as purified water systems.
This role is 6-8 months and salary quoted is pro rata, there would also be a completion bonus of 10% when the role is finished.
You would be responsible for providing ‘hands on’ engineering support to both the Facilities and Manufacturing functions whilst adhering to the site EHS and Pharmaceutical Quality procedures.
Principal Responsibilities
Routine preventative maintenance requirements for production and facility.
Routine instrumentation across the facility.
Supporting where required specialised contractors carrying out routine and re-active maintenance tasks.
Troubleshooting faults and failures in processing equipment including management and ownership of corresponding quality documentation (QE, CAPA)
Repair of faulty production and facilities machinery and equipment such as boilers, compressors, motors and pumps.
Diagnose, repair or replace control devices such as photocells, proximity sensors, switches and other devices as needed.
Perform work order repairs, inspections and adjustments to stringent GxP documentation requirements.
Full participation in site EHS programs covering risk and manual handling assessments.
Ensuring that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with their values.
Carry out other ad-hoc tasks as required by the line manager.

Principal Relationships
Accountable to – Cleanroom Lead
Internal – Close liaison with Engineering team and all levels of personnel across all other departments from peers to Managers and senior persons on site and in other company locations.
External – Maintain good working external contacts e.g. suppliers, delivery drivers, and contractors as required.
Education and Experience
Post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate.
Significant hands-on technical experience working with Instrumentation, controls and calibration equipment.
Conversant with relevant standards and methods employed with calibration activities.
Ability to maintain a high standard of documentation to GxP standards as well as good verbal communication.
GxP / GEP experience and or understanding is essential.
Skills and Attributes
Computer literate. Experienced in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint Workplace.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
