We’re looking for a Maintenance & Asset Data Lead to take ownership of our asset and maintenance master data, ensuring high standards and continuous improvement across our systems. As part of digital transformation, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate with various business areas and work on projects shaping the future of the organization.
What you’ll be doing as a Maintenance & Asset Data Lead
In this role, you’ll manage and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and value of maintenance and asset master data across operations. You’ll leverage your expertise in SAP and data governance to establish best practices, influence stakeholders, and enhance data quality and business processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading master data management activities, including data assurance and quality improvement.
- Owning and maintaining the asset and work data model in SAP, including configuration data.
- Reviewing and approving data model changes to align with business needs.
- Providing expert advice on MDM strategies and influencing their implementation.
- Leading and mentoring a team of analysts and advisors.
- Supporting incident analysis, resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Developing a centre of expertise for MDM aligned with strategic goals.
- This role is hybrid, based in Reading (RG1 8DB), with occasional travel to other sites.
What you should bring to the role
We seek a proactive leader with deep technical knowledge and a commitment to data excellence. You should be confident in leading teams, influencing stakeholders, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in SAP or similar systems like Maximo.
- Experience in data design standards, governance, and quality assurance.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on delivery.
- Excellent influencing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
