: We are seeking a dedicated Machine/Production Operative to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production machinery, ensuring efficient and high-quality output. £12.71 per hour Monday to Thursday: 07:00 until 16:45 Duties Operate a range of manufacturing equipment, including automated and manual plant machinery including CNC Assist with materials handling, including loading, unloading, and organising raw materials and finished products Use hand tools and tooling to assemble components according to specifications Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure safety and operational standards are met Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of equipment Support the assembly process by following detailed instructions and quality standards Maintain organised work areas in accordance with health and safety regulations Requirements: Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments; warehouse experience is advantageous Competence in using hand tools, tooling, and materials handling equipment Basic maths skills for measuring, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings Strong understanding of materials effectively and handling procedures in a manufacturing setting Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are maintained Prior experience with assembly tasks or working within a warehouse environment is beneficial This role provides an engaging environment for individuals eager to expand their technical expertise within manufacturing operation and driving License and personal car is required.
