Our extensive direct-to-store (DTS) network, with 17 depots nationwide, allows us to deliver fresh and frozen food both our own and from trusted partners to thousands of stores every day, ensuring our customers enjoy the very best, whenever and wherever they shop.\n \nHere at Leeds we make just over 40% of all UK frozen Yorkshire puddings; making us one of the UK's largest suppliers of frozen Yorkshire puddings to Asda, Morrisons & Tesco to name a few!\n \nWhat you'll be doing\nThe Machine Operator will work in partnership with Line Support Operators, Hygiene Operatives, Shift Managers and members of the Engineering team to ensure the safe and efficient running of operational assets.\n\nMachinery/asset troubleshooting, condition monitoring and maintenance.\nResolve mechanical and procedural issues.\nCompletion and sign off of quality documentation.\nAdherence to good manufacturing practices.\nImprove quality and line efficiencies by means of interpretation of production plans through knowledge and understanding of product, equipment, planning and manning (training will be provided).\nConsider health, safety, environmental and quality issues and their implications.\nDemonstrate a positive attitude to training and personal development.\nChecking of critical control points for product safety and quality control points and responsible for all corrective actions.What we're looking for\n\nGood understanding of both spoken & written English. You will also have strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.\nExperience troubleshooting and maintenance on Factory machinery is required.\nExperience working within a Food Manufacturer environment is but not essential.\nAble to work both day shift and night shift as this role will involve shifts alternating after each shift.\nWe're not all the same at Greencore and our help us to make every day taste better for all our stakeholders.
