Logistics Transport Planner – Hull - £35,000\n\n We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Logistics Transport Planner to join a fast-paced operation at the heart of a dynamic supply chain.\n This role is central to ensuring the smooth planning and execution of daily transport activities, aligning closely with vessel schedules and customer demands. You will play a key role in coordinating deliveries, optimising routes, and ensuring goods are delivered efficiently, on time, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.\n \n What’s on Offer:\n\nOTIF bonus\nA key role within a busy and essential operation\nOpportunity to make a real impact on efficiency and performance\nSupportive team environment\n Key Responsibilities:\n\nPlan, schedule, and allocate vehicles and drivers to meet delivery deadlines\nOptimise routes to maximise efficiency and reduce fuel and operating costs\nCoordinate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams\nMonitor live operations and respond quickly to changes or issues\nEnsure compliance with DVSA regulations and O-Licence requirements\nMonitor driver hours in line with EU Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive\nSupport audit preparation and compliance checks\nAllocate and brief drivers on daily schedules and requirements\nAct as a key point of contact for drivers, resolving issues promptly\nMaintain driver records, licences, and training documentation\nEnsure all vehicle documentation (insurance, tax, roadworthiness) is up to date\nTrack KPIs such as on-time delivery and fuel usage\nMaintain accurate transport and compliance records\nSupport incident reporting and investigations\n About You:\n\nPrevious experience in transport planning or logistics coordination\nStrong understanding of DVSA regulations, O-Licence requirements, and driver hours legislation\nExcellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail\nConfident communicator, both written and verbal\nIT literate, with experience using transport systems and Microsoft Office\nAble to work under pressure and manage competing priorities\nA proactive, solutions-focused mindset with commercial awareness\nFlexible, hands-on approach to work\n If you are interested in finding out about this exciting Logistics Transport Planner opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.\n \n Chase & Holland acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
