Overview We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team of radiologists to help deliver a world class service and support our registrar training programme. Responsibilities
Work with the existing departmental consultants and demonstrate excellent general emergency and onco‑radiological skills. Support delivery of world class expertise and local care, working with the Trust, divisions and directorates to achieve strategic aims and meet objectives. Support the delivery of the locum fixed‑term post arising from a departmental sabbatical, underpinning acute medical and surgical services and complex outpatient work. Report all aspects of acute and outpatient neuroradiology. Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver services in line with performance KPIs and clinical outcome metrics. Encounter a complex and comprehensive caseload of patients with varying presentations from a wide range of specialties. Work under pressure and be flexible and adaptive to the needs of the patient and the service. Provide professional clinical advice to the referring clinicians and hospital management. Attend relevant departmental meetings to ensure safe and effective services. Champion and lead by example on the values of the Trust, setting an example for colleagues.
Qualifications
Specialist training in advanced diagnostic Neuroradiology. Excellent general emergency and onco‑radiological skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing service demands.
