Objetctive
Ensuring guest engagement and satisfaction, execution and supervision of service to the required standards, with consistency in both The Lobby Bar and Library. A high level of floor presence is expected, engaging with both your team and our guest's is a priority.

Previous experience in a luxury environment is an advantage
You must be comfortable communicating in English with guests and colleagues
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the department and Lobby Bar operation
Facilitate all aspects relating to the day to day running of The Lobby Bar and Library.
Create a warm and engaging environment for our guests, recognizing repeat and SRG guests, updating guest profiles in Open Table with relevant information to include guest preferences.
Work closely with the Central Reservations team to ensure that reservations are maximised and all standards outlined in the ‘How To Do It's' are met.
To conduct daily briefings (de-briefings where necessary) with The Lobby Bar team ensuring all relevant information is passed along and teams are prepared for service, to include SRG's, guest preferences and any special requirements, also include information regarding what is happening in the hotel.
In collaboration with the Director of Finance and Food and Beverage Operations Manager create The Lobby Bar budget. After the budget is approved adhere to this managing all aspects in order to achieve agreed performance targets.
Maintain good relationships with suppliers to negotiate and ensure the best cost prices, retro agreements and other incentives to the hotel
Maintain market knowledge, online marketing initiatives and special offers.
Monitor closely beverage sale prices in The Lobby Bar ensuring that they are in line with competitors and also cost effective.
Partner with Human Resources and the Food and Beverage Operations Manager to attract, recruit, train and appraise employees in The Lobby Bar and Library
