Lift Service/Repair Engineer – London\nLocation: London (within 1 hour of Central London)\nSalary: £45,000 – £55,000 + overtime & callout payments\nStart Date: ASAP\nWe are seeking an experienced Lift Service/Repair Engineer to join a well-established independent company. You will carry out servicing, repairs, fault-finding, and callouts across Central London (approx. 90% of work).\nKey Responsibilities:\n * \n Service, maintain, and repair lifts\n * \n Attend emergency callouts on a rota (1 week in 3, Mon 5pm–Mon 8am)\n * \n Fault-finding and ensure lifts meet high standards\n * \n Team-based servicing, including occasional Saturdays\nWhat’s on Offer:\n * \n £220 standby allowance per callout week\n * \n £70/£90 callout rates\n * \n Overtime 1.33x weekdays / 1.5x weekends & Bank Holidays\n * \n 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays\n * \n Company van, phone/PDA, uniform, PPE provided\n * \n Pension scheme, personal accident & illness cover\n * \n Fuel, parking, congestion charges covered\nRequirements:\n * \n NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)\n * \n 7+ years’ lift servicing experience\n * \n Strong fault-finding skills & proactive approach\n * \n Excellent communication and teamwork\n * \n Full clean UK driving licence\nHours: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm + 1 in 3 callout rota
