As our Deputy Manager Apprentice, you will support the Nursery Manager in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the setting. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, leading staff, supporting childrens development, and contributing to the strategic direction of the nursery. Requirements
? Must already hold a
Level 3 Early Years qualification ?
Experience as a Third in Charge
or similar senior role within a nursery ? Strong understanding of the EYFS framework ? Confident supporting staff performance and daily operations ? Genuine ambition to progress into a Deputy Manager position ? Willing to complete the
Level 5 Lead Practitioner apprenticeship ? Full-time availability Key Responsibilities
Assist the Manager with planning, compliance, and maintaining high-quality practice across the setting
Lead, motivate and mentor staff to deliver outstanding childcare
Support with safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted requirements
Develop strong relationships with children, families, and the wider team
Ensure all policies and procedures are followed consistently
