Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Bury) Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Temporary (Autumn Term)
We are is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Bury. This is a temporary position for the first term, starting in September, with the potential for extension based on performance.
The Role: You will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the primary age range, helping to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. The role will include working with small groups, providing one-to-one support, and assisting with classroom management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning
* Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives
* Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities
* Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs where required
* Promote positive behaviour and a safe learning environment
Requirements:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working within a primary school setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive and flexible approach to supporting pupils and staff
* A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
