About the Role As an Automotive Technical Trainer, you will deliver high‑quality training to apprentices and learners, ensuring they develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to succeed in today's fast‑evolving automotive industry. Responsibilities
Deliver Level 2 Automotive Maintenance & Repair (Light Vehicle) training in line with current industry standards Ensure all training reflects modern methods, emerging technologies, and manufacturer advancements Apply effective instructional techniques to support a range of learning styles Carry out assessments and maintain accurate trainee documentation in line with company policy Deliver training in accordance with internal QA processes, awarding body requirements, and Health & Safety regulations Provide welfare support and guidance to apprentices and employer partners Maintain up‑to‑date technical expertise through ongoing CPD and awareness of industry developments
What We're Looking For
Minimum Level 2 qualification in Automotive Maintenance and Repair (Light Vehicle) Strong, hands‑on industry experience A passion for developing others Excellent communication and organisational skills No prior teaching experience required – fully funded teaching qualifications up to Level 4 are provided Ideal for experienced technicians, MOT testers, or workshop professionals who are ready to step away from the tools and into a rewarding training career
