About The Role
Forest of Dean District Council is looking for a motivated and community-focused Leisure and Active Well-being Officer to join our Community Well-being Team. In this role, youll help improve residents quality of life by ensuring the delivery of high-quality leisure facilities and activities through effective contract monitoring. Working closely with our leisure provider, youll support performance monitoring, data collection, and contract compliance, while attending regular site visits and stakeholder meetings.
A key part of this role is building strong relationships with providers, colleagues, and community partners to support the implementation of our Active Well-being Strategy. Youll contribute to community-based physical activity programmes, help organise and attend regular review meetings and support initiatives that align with the Councils health and well-being priorities.
