A lovely and welcoming primary school in Camden is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support a KS2 class from January. This full-time temporary role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils, supporting learning and contributing to a positive classroom environment.

* Role: Learning Support Assistant (KS2 Class)
* Start Date: Second week of January 2026
* Location: Camden, London
* Contract: Full time - temporary (January to end of academic year)
* Pay: £500 - £560 per week

Responsibilities

* As the Learning Support Assistant, support pupils within a KS2 class during lessons and structured activities
* Work alongside the class teacher to support learning, engagement and independence
* Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups when required
* Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and participation in learning
* Contribute to the smooth running of the classroom and daily routines

Requirements

* Experience supporting pupils as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school setting.
* Experience working within KS2 or similar age groups
* Able to build positive, respectful relationships with pupils
* Calm, patient and supportive approach to learning
* Available full time from January for the duration of the role
