Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Foundation Department at Slough and Langley College on a part-time, term-time basis.
Learning Support Assistant This part-time Learning Support Assistant role involves working 22.5 hours per week on a 37-week, Term Time Only basis. The working days for this position are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week between 08:30 and 17:00. This role pays on scale G of the Support Staff pay scale between G16 £12171.78 and G19 £13528.46 (Full Time Equivalent G16 £24,098 to G19 £26,784). As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for enabling students at various college campuses to access the curriculum fully, assisting them in achieving their learning goals. Reporting to the Head of Department, the role involves working under the direction of educational staff to support teaching, learning, and related activities. Responsibilities include assisting with planning and evaluating learning activities, supporting both individuals and groups, maintaining confidential records, and collaborating with pastoral staff to help students overcome learning challenges.
