What the Role Involves

Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom, including small-group or 1:1 interventions

Assisting teachers to adapt lessons to meet different learning needs, especially for students with SEND (ASD, ADHD, SEMH)

Helping with classroom management, maintaining a positive and safe learning environment

Supporting students' personal, social, and emotional development, helping build confidence and independence

Working with external professionals (therapists, SENDCo etc.) and contributing towards implementing IEPs and behaviour plans

Participating in school activities and assisting with movement around the school (e.g. transitions, playground supervision)

What the School is Looking For

We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and committed individual with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in child-centred roles or SEND settings is valued. A 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top-30 UK university is desirable, but dedication and attitude are equally important.
