Your new roleThe successful candidate will work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to support pupils aged 11-19 in accessing learning and developing essential life skills. The role involves building positive relationships, promoting independence, and helping students engage confidently with their education.Key responsibilities include: Supporting pupils in lessons, small groups, and 1:1 sessions Assisting with adapted learning materials and differentiated activities Encouraging communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Contributing to progress reviews and supporting EHCP targets What you'll need to succeedThe school welcomes applicants with experience in education, care, or youth support, as well as those with transferable skills and a passion for working with young people.
