We are seeking a skilled Lead Installer (Timber Garden Buildings) with a background in carpentry, joinery or timber construction to lead the installation of high-quality garden buildings across the UK.
Working as the lead installer on-site, you will take responsibility for delivering professional installations of a wide range of timber structures including log cabins, insulated garden rooms, summerhouses, sheds, greenhouses, outdoor play areas and saunas.
You will manage installations from start to finish, ensuring all structures are built safely, efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship. The role also involves supervising & training installation operatives, coordinating on-site activity and maintaining excellent customer service throughout each project.
This position is ideal for an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in their work and enjoys delivering high-quality timber structures for customers nationwide.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead the installation and assembly of timber garden buildings and outdoor structures at customer sites across the UK.
* Interpret and work from technical drawings, installation manuals and specifications.
* Carry out high-quality carpentry and joinery work during installations.
* Supervise and support installation operatives or assistants on-site.
* Ensure installations are completed efficiently, safely and to company quality standards.
* Liaise with customers professionally during the installation process.
* Maintain safe working practices and organised site conditions at all times.
* Coordinate with logistics and operations teams regarding deliveries, materials and installation schedules.
* Assist the Installation Manager with development & training.
* Working with the Installation and Design Managers to develop new products & elevate existing product range.
* Attend site inspections to correctly diagnose rectifications.
*Skills & Experience*
* Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, timber construction or building installation
* Strong practical knowledge of timber structures and construction methods
* Confident using a wide range of hand tools and power tools
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation instructions
* Experience leading or supervising work on-site
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Willingness to travel nationwide with regular overnight stays
* Experience installing log cabins, garden rooms, timber buildings or similar outdoor structures preferred but not essential
* NVQ or trade qualification in Carpentry or Joinery desirable
* Previous experience working in a customer-facing installation role would be advantageous
