Our client, a leader in securing Britain's energy supply, is seeking a dynamic Lead Estimator for a Fixed Term Contract of 6 months. As a Lead Estimator, you will play a vital role in developing precise cost estimates, collaborating with project teams, and engaging with stakeholders. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed, analytical cost estimates from first principles. Work with project teams to define scopes and identify missing data. Lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders to gather data and resolve estimation concerns. Participate in risk workshops and build contingencies into estimates. Read and interpret engineering drawings (P&IDs, GA drawings, schematics). Continuously refine estimation processes for better accuracy and efficiency.
