Lead Designer – Primary Responsibilities Support the Design Managers with day-to-day activities to ensure project deadlines are met according to the planned schedule. Take ownership of allocated projects as assigned by the Design Manager. Brief the design and technical teams on new projects and provide ongoing guidance throughout. Review drawings to confirm alignment with the project brief, brand guidelines, and company standards. Prepare, review, and approve drawings based on outcomes from design review meetings. Assume full responsibility for any drawings personally reviewed and checked. Additional Responsibilities Action and communicate changes following instruction updates or best practice notices: Ensure changes are briefed to the team. Update relevant templates as needed. Collaborate with external consultants as required per project: Project Managers Specialist Joinery Consultants M&E Consultants Signage Contractors Main Contractors Landlord/Leaseholder (LL) Design Teams (e.g., shopping centres, travel sites) Assist Design Managers in preparing detailed submissions and forms required by landlords or airports.
