Opportunity to progress your career in a hands-on Lead Data Engineer at a charity that enables waste food distribution across the UK to those in need.
As a Lead Data Engineer you will be responsible for the design, delivery and ongoing evolution of the cloud (Azure) data platform, Microsoft Fabric environments, Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions that power analytics, reporting, AI and operational decision making.
You'll provide leadership to a small data engineering team, setting the technical direction and mentoring and developing the team whilst remaining hands-on designing and building robust data pipelines and data models. Collaborating with the Head of Technology and wider leadership team you'll hep to shape the data roadmap.
Location / WFH:
There's a flexible hybrid work from home model, you'll join colleagues in the Sheffield office as and when required.
About you:
You have strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer or Data Architect on Azure based platforms
You have experience with ETL and orchestration tools including Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines and Logic Apps
