Position Title: Lead Chef Department: Kitchen Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Lead Chef to manage kitchen operations, deliver high-quality food and lead our kitchen team. Working closely with the General Manager, you will ensure excellent customer care, food standards and strong commercial performance. Key responsibilities: Prepare and deliver high-quality food to a consistently high standard Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team: manage rotas, cover, and staff development Ensure full compliance with food safety, health, hygiene and legal requirements Maintain strict cleaning standards and accurate kitchen records Support menu planning, pricing and costing to achieve profit targets Manage stock ordering and control to minimise waste Assist with functions and events Handle customer feedback professionally and positively Lead by example to maximise efficiency and quality Experience and Requirements: Proven experience as a Chef in a management or leadership role (Essential) Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance NOTE: Applicants must have full right to work in the UK to be eligible for the role.
