KS2 Teaching Assistant

Location: BB3 (Darwen) Hours: Full-time (school hours)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Darwen. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils during a key stage of their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging KS2 lessons Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning Assist with classroom management and daily routines Provide targeted support in literacy and numeracy Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environmentRequirements:

Previous experience working in a primary school setting (preferred) Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum (desirable) A positive, proactive, and flexible approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for supporting children's learning and developmentThis is a rewarding opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact in a supportive school environment.
