About the Role
Part-time KS2 Maths teaching in a high-performing prep setting
Small group teaching focused on mastery, fluency and confidence in Maths
Structured 11+ preparation embedded into teaching and intervention, including:
Problem-solving and mathematical reasoning
Timed practice and exam technique
Familiarisation with 11+ style question formats (including verbal and non-verbal reasoning where appropriate)
Targeted intervention for pupils preparing for selective secondary school entry
Delivery of both intervention and extension groups across KS2
Close collaboration with KS2 staff to monitor progress and outcomes
Minimal unnecessary admin, with a strong focus on teaching and impact

Experienced KS2 Maths teacher with strong subject and curriculum knowledge
Confident supporting pupils preparing for selective school / 11+ entry
Able to build confidence in reasoning, problem-solving and exam technique
Comfortable delivering both targeted support and high-level challenge
Calm, consistent and highly organised classroom practitioner
