Kitchen Sales Designer

With over 45 years of experience, our client is a family-run manufacturer and retailer of stylish, bespoke kitchens and bedrooms. They are the largest kitchen manufacturer in the South West with an excellent reputation in the marketplace. They pride themselves on their 5-star service and they are seeking a candidate who embodies this too.
As a Kitchen Sales Designer your role will be to meet with customers and discuss their project with them. During this meeting you will gather information on the customer's requirements and start to put forward a compelling solution. You will use design experience to ensure that you are putting forward a unique offer that makes the best use of space whilst ensuring the customer is fully committed to the design solution.
You will conduct home visits where necessary and measure room sizes to ensure the company has sufficient information to fulfill the client brief. You will create compelling visuals using kitchen planning software and present this to customers and be able to discuss the pricing of the kitchen and close the sale.
Key Responsibilities:
Playing the lead role in building relationships with consumers (B2C) and property developers
Greeting customers and
presenting the range of products
Managing customer leads and developing leads into sales
Liaising with kitchen designer/back-office team to ensure customer expectations are met and managed
Ensuring customer deposits and final payments are collected on time and ahead of delivery
To meet sales targets
To manage active sales leads ensuring all customers receive a high level of service
To offer exceptional customer service to all customers
Report on sales figures to Showroom Manager and Sales Director
Proactively manage all leads on completion
Delivering a fully project managed service from inquiry to completion, including arranging trades and various schedules
Candidate Requirements:
A minimum of two years' sales experience
Kitchen industry knowledge / experience
Excellent fact-finding skills
A proven ability to achieve or exceed monthly and annual company sales targets
A proven ability to engage with customers is key
Design experience
Must hold a full valid driving licence
Be able to provide a portfolio of designs if successful for an interview

09:00 to 17:00, 4 days per week, working 10:00 to 16:00 on a Saturday

Work Location:
In the companys store in Exeter, Devon. About 70% of the candidates time will be spent in the store and about 30% will be spent undertaking home visits. These will primarily be across Devon. However, depending on the candidates location, they may also be occasionally across parts of Somerset, Cornwall and Dorset too.
