Kitchen Assistant Youll support the preparation of wholesome meals for up to
80 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years , helping to create positive and enjoyable mealtime experiences in a caring nursery environment. Location:
Nursery on The Green Day Nursery, Redbourn, AL3 7NB Contract:
Fixed-term for 6 months Hours:
37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Working pattern:
Monday to Friday, 09:0017:30 Salary:
£24,102 per annum (pro rata) | £12.36 per hour

About you
Youll be a great fit if you are: Passionate about healthy food:
With professional catering experience, youll support the preparation of varied meals from a set menu using fresh ingredients
Detail-focused and safety conscious:
Your knowledge of COSHH, allergens and manual handling will help maintain 5-star hygiene standards within the kitchen
A safeguarding advocate:
Youll ensure the wellbeing and dietary needs of every child are consistently met
A strong team player:
Working closely with the Nursery Cook, youll promote healthy eating, build positive relationships and take full responsibility for food preparation in their absence
