Key Production Operative - Scallop Cutter

Using trained skills, including using a scallop-cutting tool to ensure the splitting, cutting and cleaning of the scallops on a variety of differing sizes, you'll aim to reduce waste and improve yield. It's really important that the scallops are cut to a high standard and in line with specification in a timely manner, and that the scallop shells are free of any excess scallop meat.
Safety is a top priority and you'll need to follow all relevant knife safety training at all times to ensure risks are minimised. We'll provide all of the training you'll need to be successful in this role.

About you
You'll be the kind of person who:
Is able to work in a fast paced food manufacturing environment, which can be damp and wet with varying temperatures of 8 degrees and below Has high dexterity skills and can complete repetitive movement of hands, fingers and wrists for averaging 8-12 hours daily, complying with Health and Safety regulations Is able to comply with relevant business and site policies, such as health and safety and food safety standards Will wear full knife safety personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including apron and cut proof gloves We want to provide everyone with the opportunity to succeed in their role and career with us.
