Your new role As the Key Account Sales Manager, you will lead and coordinate the Birmingham Key Account Management (KAM) team to deliver sales growth and maximise profitability. Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating the KAM team to achieve commercial targets.Holding regular meetings with Key Account Managers and Area Sales Managers to optimise performance.Acting as the main liaison for the UK Commercial Director to ensure clarity, communication and strategic alignment.Identifying and driving new business opportunities while strengthening existing relationships.Analysing sales performance across multiple criteria (client, year, product, region, order type) and proposing actionable solutions.Creating reports and commercial improvement proposals for internal teams.Calculating and monitoring product margins and profitability.Working closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to develop and recommend commercial actions.Supporting process improvements and enhancements to controlling tools. What you'll need to succeed Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, with strong coordination and analytical capabilities.Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.A proactive mindset with strong verbal and written communication abilities.Team‑player attitude with the ability to contribute ideas and maintain open communication.Excellent organisational and planning strengths, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
